Senior QA Engineer
Position Type: Full-time or Contract

Position Responsibilities
- Work with product managers and business analysts to translate business requirements into high quality technical test plans and test automation
- Perform and document architecture and technical design for software developed
- Ensure technical components are usable, reliable, scalable, extensible, interoperable, and reusable
Position Requirements
- 5+ years of experience testing enterprise-class 3-tier web-based applications using Java and web services technologies
- Ability to design test plans and develop test automation
- Experience with MySQL, SQL Server, and/or Oracle desired
- Experience with RFID, GPS, and sensors a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics required. MS a plus

Java Software Engineer (Web)

We value people who are that are highly motivated, possess creative problem solving skills, have the ability to implement complex concepts and work well in a team environment. Fluensee exposes its technology team to many of the newest technologies in the industry while architecting and building enterprise-class RFID-enabled asset tracking and supply chain management software products.
Position Responsibilities
- Work with product managers and business analysts to translate business requirements into high quality technical designs and working software
- Continually enhance the technical design, architecture and frameworks of the product suite
- Perform and document architecture and technical design for software developed
- Ensure technical components are usable, reliable, scalable, extensible, interoperable, and reusable
Position Requirements
- 6-8 years experience in web development across the whole web application stack from the server to the interface using Java, J2EE, Struts technologies
- Design a modern, interactive web interface and develop the back-end technical solutions to support it.
- In-depth knowledge of HTML, Panels, CSS, and JavaScript including cross-browser incompatibilities.
- Familiarity working with JavaScript and AJAX libraries, such as Zapatec, prototype, scriptalicous, DOJO and jQuery.
- Experience with integrating applications with Google Earth, ArcGIS, STK, or Google Maps
- Experience with Hibernate against MySQL, SQL Server, and/or Oracle desired
- Experience with RFID, GPS, and sensors a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics required. MS a plus
